Imagine having a delicious and healthy smoothie that tastes like a slice of fresh homemade peach pie. This is made with frozen peaches, along with some yogurt and typical spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, all blended together for the perfect creamy and thick smoothie. It’s the ultimate smoothie that’s easily a make-ahead breakfast!

Peach pie just happens to be one my favorites pies, next to the chocolate cream pie. Transforming it into a smoothie was the best idea I’ve had. This is perfect for breakfast, snack, or even dessert! Spoiler alert: these smoothies don’t contain the pie part of the peach pie. You can use fresh peaches, just add in some ice to thicken it up, since the fresh peaches tend to be juicy. Frozen knocks out 2 birds with 1 stone for thickening the shake!

How to make Peach Pie Smoothie

This really came out tasting like a slice of fresh peach pie! You can use dairy free milk and yogurt, or throw in some rolled oats for texture! (Full ingredient amounts and complete instructions are available in the recipe card down below).

  • Frozen Sliced Peaches: You can use fresh peaches if readily available during the summer. Just throw in some ice or rolled oats to thicken up the smoothie.
  • Yogurt & Milk
  • Honey, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Vanilla Extract: For the “pie” part of the smoothie.

Blend all ingredients together. Add some ice if it doesn’t thicken or rolled oats.

Tips & FAQs

  • Make this a day ahead or serve immediately. It won’t do well after day 2, as it starts to separate.
    • Freeze: You can make a smoothie pack by adding all, except for the milk and honey, of the ingredients together in a freezer-safe Ziploc bag and storing them in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Make it Dairy-Free by using a dairy free milk and yogurt.
  • The best type of fresh peaches should feel slightly soft with a little bit of resistance. If they are still too hard, let them sit out at room temperature in a brown paper bag overnight.
