- 2 lb boneless pork country ribs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp cinnamon optional
- 2 tsp Worcestershire
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup BBQ sauce of choice
Preheat your oven to 375F for conventional, 350F for convecting.
In a large bowl that is big enough to fit the ribs, toss together all ingredients except for the BBQ sauce so the ribs are evenly coated with spices and liquids.
On a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, spray with nonstick olive oil spray. Arrange the ribs onto the baking sheet. Using a pastry brush, brush some BBQ sauce on each rib, leaving half of the BBQ sauce for later.
Bake for 30 minutes. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining BBQ sauce onto the ribs. Bake until the internal temperature reaches 140F.
Allow the ribs to rest for 10 minutes. The temperature will still rise when resting, so it'll reach 145F. Serve,
