My name is Dani and I am a Hospitality Graduate.
My love for cooking came at 14 years old when my mom taught me how to bake cookies and make tomato sauce. I remember I always wanted to make the tomato sauce for my family when it was pasta day. After a while, I decided to branch out and try new recipes. A recipe I found became a huge hit in my family called “Spinach Brownies”. This recipe was found on allrecipes and has stayed in my recipe binder ever since. As years came, I made more and more dishes, more complex in flavor combinations, and it was only recently that I started to photograph everything that I make and post on Instagram.
Back in middle school/high school, my imagination ran wild. I wrote short stories and poems. Some were dark in nature, while others weren’t terribly horrific. One of my poems was featured in a published book back in my high school year of 2010 or 2011. (which I did buy, however Hurricane Sandy took it away). I never gave up on my love for writing, but I just had no way of making it useful. Cooking was my first love, so I decided to combine the two and run a recipe blog by myself.
I graduated community college with an Associates’ in Applied Science for Restaurant Management. I currently work full time as a shift manager in a fast casual restaurant, then come home to a gremlin of a cat and a loving husband.
